POLYGRAPH
FAST AND RELIABLE SOLUTION TO UNCOVER THE TRUTH REGARDING ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE
Our services include conducting background checks on job candidates, assessing loyalty of current employees, investigating internal incidents in companies, determining cases of adultery for married couples, performing examinations for criminal, administrative, or civil cases, assisting clients in court proceedings, and providing second opinions on conclusions made by other polygraph examiners.
Polygraph Information
Our polygraph examiners understand responsibility they hold towards persons who willingly participate in psychophysiological examinations with a polygraph. Regardless of any circumstances that led to this procedure, the examiner commits to being honest, objective and impartial when dealing with the tested individual. This commitment shall be unaffected by social or economic status, political and religious beliefs, or racial and ethnic background of the tested individuals.
Polygraph Information
During a polygraph test, the examiner uses a non-invasive and safe polygraph that monitors at least three physiological processes: respiration, cardiovascular system, and galvanic skin reflex. However, in modern practice, there are about 5-6 physiological processes recorded.
Polygraph Information
When conducting tests with a computer polygraph, the examiner must refrain from asking questions with the aim to make the tested individual disclose information, which constitutes state secrets, military secrets, or contains details concerning operations of law enforcement agencies or intelligence services in Russia. There are exceptions related to specific investigations made under instructions and in the interest of the above-mentioned organizations and services.
Polygraph Information
Unless they are professionals in a certain field, polygraph examiners should avoid making conclusions in their written report related to medical, legal, psychiatric, or other areas of expertise outside their profile. If required, a specialist can provide a description of behavior and appearance of the tested individual, as long as it is relevant to the psychophysiological examination with the polygraph. However, the polygraph examiner must refrain from making any psychiatric or other diagnoses beyond their competence. If required, a specialist can provide a description of behavior and appearance of the tested individual, as long as it is relevant to the psychophysiological test conducted with the polygraph. However, the polygraph examiner must refrain from making any diagnoses.
HOW DOES THE POLYGRAPH WORK?
02
OPERATING METHODS
A polygraph is a device used to record and measure various physiological factors of an individual, including their pulse, blood pressure, respiration, and electrodermal activity (skin electrical activity).
This device is commonly used by justice and investigation bodies to identify potential falsehoods and misinformation.
Preparing for the test
Before the test, the polygraph examiner has a preliminary interview with the tested individual, providing an explanation of the purpose and procedure of the test. Gathering information about medical history, administration of any medications or substances that may impact the results, and other factors affecting physiological factors of the individual is important in the preparation phase.
Recording basic indicators
Before starting to ask control questions, the examiner records basic physiological indicators of the tested individual at rest in order to identify normal physiological levels and measure their pulse, blood pressure, respiration, and electrodermal activity of the skin.
Asking control questions
The tested individual responds to a series of control questions that require a "yes" or "no" response and are related to their life (e.g., "Do you ever lie?"). These answers enable the examiner to assess physiological reactions to true and false statements.
Asking main questions
Following the control questions, the examiner asks main questions about a certain event or incident under the examination. The answers to those questions serve as a basis for comparing physiological indicators and identifying correlation between standard reactions and main true/false answers.
Data analysis
The expert examiner analyzes the recorded physiological data in specialized software. By comparing physiological indicators during the control and main questions, potential anomalies or patterns that suggest false or unreliable responses can be identified.
Results and interpretation
After the analysis is over, the examiner makes conclusions based on physiological reactions of the tested individual. It's essential to note that the polygraph is not an infallible tool, and results shall be subject to interpretation. The expert examiner evaluates results and makes a conclusion that either supports or refutes truthfulness of the answers.

    FAQ
How long does a lie detector test usually take?
On average, a screening test for newly hired personnel lasts about 2 hours. Duration of the test can increase to 4 hours. In cases involving criminal, administrative, or civil matters, as well as adultery cases, the test may take approximately 5-6 hours with breaks.
Can a pregnant woman undergo psychophysiological examinations with a computer polygraph?
No, it is an absolute contraindication for a pregnant woman. Generally, if an individual has cardiovascular or respiratory diseases, a specialist would rather cancel the test than take responsibility. However, if the tested individual presents a medical certificate stating that there are no medical contraindications to the test, a polygraph examiner may proceed.
Is it possible to cheat a lie detector?
No, nowadays advancement of computer technology made it almost impossible to cheat a lie detector, unless one has undergone specialized training. However, such training is taken only for state defense issues and is not available to general public. Reliability of lie tests now reaches 99%. Although there are internet sites offering to teach lie-detector cheating techniques, they are often scams, like “social engineering” (demand creates supply), that will take your money in exchange for nothing, offering no guarantees. In some countries, for example in the United States, engaging in such activities can lead to criminal prosecution and prison sentences. Let's hope that legislation in Russia will address this issue as well.
Can a person be forced to take a polygraph test?
No, the procedure can only take place with the written, voluntary consent of the tested individual. The test taker also has the right to stop the test at any stage if they feel unwell. The individual also has the right to refuse to answer a question if they find it awkward in any way.
